One of the Klang Valley's longest-running gigs is back for its first show in 2009. Moonshine will have performers like Izzy, M and Az Samad. It will also welcome back singer-songwriter Brokenscar who has been away in Australia for over a year.

Iron Dragons of Malaya opens today at KLPac. This photography exhibition will see a collection of artistic images taken at the historic locomotive Sentul depot. The exhibition will be displayed at Pentas 2, with some multimedia projections.

Over at Valentine Willie, their annual Headlights show returns. This year, participating artists include Jalaini Abu Hassan, Kow Leong Kiang, Elaine Navas, Jonathan Ching, Stefan Buana and a lot more.

It's looking to be a busy week in the nightlife circuit.  Zouk welcomes Sister Bliss, presented by Topshop, on 9 January. A member of the dance group Faithless, Sister Bliss's set will include progressive trance/house stylings. On the next night, clubbers will be happy to hear that Armin Van Buuren will be spinning a four-hour set. You simply can't go wrong with him.

Fans of drum 'n bass should hustle over to Cloth & Clef for Take Off Records presents Looking Good. On the menu for the night is a mix of downtempo, funk, breaks and DnB, courtesy of DJs Low and Tubby. Electro-indie-rock lovers can check out Electrosexual as well at Club 9 & the SiX Lounge this week.
